For those of you that have no idea what I am talking about, I encourage you to check our website on Monday to listen to or watch the sermon from our weekend services. It will both explain and challenge you to participate in our new program.
Here’s my brief summary:
In Acts 2:42-47 IT describes the early church. In verse 45 it talks about how the people were willing to use their excess belongings to benefit the needs of others. We are going to do the same!
If you have a need, fill out the “INEED” form. You can put down things like lawnmower, someone to help fix my door, washing machine, etc. All information collected will be kept anonymous.
If you have something that you can give, fill out the “IHAVE” form. You can put down things like lawnmower, car, I am willing to help with electrical needs, etc. We will keep this information confidential too.
Once we get all the information collected, we will connect the “IHAVE” people with the “INEED” people. We will then take the leftover “INEED” items and assemble a anonymous list to distribute to LCC for people to step up to fill the needs.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Matt Johnson
Executive Pastor
